Hillel at UTK inspires students to explore and embrace Jewish life on campus and in the community. We encourage students to embrace and cultivate our Volunteer spirit and to promote simcha in all we do. We provide students opportunities to support its mission through: On/Off Campus Shabbat Dinners, Campus and Community VOLunteer opportunities, Latkes & Lights Chanukah Party, Passover-Friendly Meals, Bagel Breaks, Coffee Chats, Shabbaton in the Smokies, Parents Weekend Shabbat event, and much more! We are proud that students are involved not only with Hillel and its mission but also with the success of the UTK campus community. Hillel students engage in Campus Multifaith Campus events, such as United Around the Table and United at The Rock. We have also co-sponsored comedy and musical performances, authors, and speakers with various campus departments. The University is the largest Jewish employer in the state with more than 75 Jewish faculty members at UTK. We look forward to welcoming you to Hillel at UTK and being inVOLved in our kehillah!
