As Our Community Mourns
It is impossible to put into words the grief we feel for the loss of our family, our loved ones, and our beloved brothers and sisters in Pittsburgh at Tree of Life Congregation.
That this congregation and Jewish community is minutes from our Hillel Jewish University Center of Pittsburgh, serving the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University, makes this loss closer, but does not change the feeling of connection we would have wherever this might have happened.
Kol Yisroel Aravim Zeh Lazeh – all Jews are responsible for one another. Today Hillel mourns with our people. We will never forget the families and all who have suffered devastating losses. May the memories of the fallen be connected to our people forever and may we never forget to stand for our people everywhere.
