Explore Minnesota Hillel
There has never been a better time to be a Jewish student at the University of Minnesota. The U, as it is affectionately called, has become one of the top Midwest Universities for Jewish students looking for an active and vibrant Jewish population and strong off-campus community. Each year students have the opportunity to take leadership roles in shaping the U's Jewish community and ensuring that Jewish life at the U is open and accessible to all Jewish students. During the 2019-2020 academic year Minnesota Hillel completed a multi-million dollar renovation of our building on campus, ensuring that students have all the necessities and amenities for top notch extra-curricular gatherings and study space. Minnesota Hillel also serves as a resource for students across the state of Minnesota, no matter what school they are attending.

ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ two years ago, I found one of my grandmother's diaries in a corner of my family's basement. It was very old, the pages were torn, and inside, I found glimpses of her life, including grocery lists and a family secret: my grandmother was Jewish, and so am I.
